Brilliant hotel with FRIENDLY EFFICIENT personnel and marvellous view of the sea. Well decorated room and nicely decorated bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer and bath sheets. Freshly cooked breakfast, very good services. Unbeatable location in Bridlington just next door to the beach, 200m & town centre, the conservatory and bars restaurants. Also, close to everything.

The bedding and the towels were excellent. The proprietor was very helpful with taking our luggage to and from the room. The breakfasts were of very good quality and variety - plenty of choice.

We chose the hotel initially for its location, however we were impressed by the cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and good range of breakfast foods available. We would certainly book again for our next visit to Bridlington
The bed was a little on the soft side for our taste.

It was a quiet, well organised establishment with house rules that were to the benefit of all the guests. The breakfast was excellent. Tim, Fiona and their staff were approachable and friendly. I can only assume that the couple of negative reviews I have seen are from people who don't know how to behave and think that rules don't apply to them. If you aren't meant to stink out your room with takeaways or let your kids run wild then you have no complaint when the proprietor tells you off. By the way, they are happy for you to bring your own food in, they just ask you to eat it downstairs - they'll even sort you ouit a table and cutlery. All in all, we had a lovely stay.

Make sure you stay in the suite with the view of the sea. Shared bathroom is fairly clean. The location is good and fantastic on the East coast.

The comfort, cleanliness and cuisine were splendid and the weather was fortunately perfect.
Nothing really but it would have created a good first impression if when asked on early arrival if we could use the toilet(medically an essential requirement)the landlady had acceded to this reasonable request. In all fairness when we returned we were given a free room upgrade.

great access to promenade and old town for weekend explorations
We had a lovely two-day stay, enjoying the excellent breakfasts and the decor throughout, while the hotel's proximity to Bridlington Sea Front and the charming Bridlington Old Town made our city strolls nice.

Clean and friendly, nice room with plenty of storage space, excellent breakfast with superb variety
We asked when booking to be booked in for an evening meal, they did not respond twice and when we arrived were informed it was out of season so no meals were available. Why wer,nt we told this at the beginning?

Excellent facilities, large dining room with a first class breakfast. Great customer service and attention to detail and ideal location for the beach, town, theatre etc. We had a comfortable and enjoyable weekend.
The shower screen needed updating in the bathroom but everything else was brilliant.

The Royal in Bridlington offered a good stay overall. The room, a Double Room with Four Poster Bed, felt cozy and well presented. I loved the quirky decor and comfy beds. Hot showers every morning were a great perk too. I did notice some areas that could use improvement. The shower pressure fluctuated, a bit annoying. The bathroom could have a towel rail for added convenience. Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options that really stood out. Just a tip, check breakfast timings ahead of time to avoid missing out. Having a DVD player in the room was a nice touch, but perhaps adding a few more seating areas in common spaces would enhance the experience.

Paid extra for room with 4 poster bed but room was tiny not worth the extra

several things dissapointed but probably best not to moan here. The owners were more interested in telling me ( verbally and by e mail) my disapointments were my fault rather than offering a simple apology

The Royal Bridlington had a charming décor, with light and airy rooms that felt inviting, and common areas were easily accessible, making it comfortable for seniors like me to relax and enjoy my stay.
A bit more seating in common areas would be nice.
